Role & responsibilities Hands-on experience in MV switchgear, Control & Relay panel design Understanding of project scope based on specifications. Preparation of project schedule aligned with delivery requirements. Hands-on experience with design software such as AutoCAD and Elec-desk. AC & DC load calculation for substation battery sizing. Relay selection based on utility specifications across a wide range of products (ALSTOM, ABB, SEL, GE, SIEMENS, and REYROLLE). CT / PT Selection and calculations. Preparation of single line diagrams, block logic diagrams, and trip matrices. Development of general arrangement, equipment lists, and schematic drawings per specification. Knowledge in MV Switchgear, Protection & control schemes. Creation of project signal lists and ordering of materials. Preparation of drilling template drawings, label schedules, terminal block (TB) schedules, internal view drawings, inter-panel wiring schedules, and uploading of drawings for panel manufacturing. Preparation of control cable termination and FO cable schedules. Incorporation of inspection comments as applicable. Regular coordination with the client for approval updates and clarifications. Regular coordination with the suppliers for technical clarifications. Site visits for data collection/survey to ensure project requirement. Preparation of red-markup/As built drawings as per site comments. Factory / On-site coordination with testing engineers and OEM representatives. Fluent in English communication (Hindi will be an added advantage). Willingness to take additional responsibilities.
