Job Description

Lead and mentor a team of Linux system administrators, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize Linux-based infrastructure (RedHat, CentOS, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu).
Manage critical services such as Apache, Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB, etc.
Configure and maintain monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana).
Implement and enforce security practices: patching, hardening, firewalls (iptables/nftables), SELinux.
Oversee backup and disaster recovery processes.
Plan and execute migrations, upgrades, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Network, DevOps, Development) to support infrastructure needs.
Define and document policies, procedures, and best practices.
Respond to incidents and lead root cause analysis for system outages or degradations.
Maintain uptime and SLAs for production environments.
Experience with virtualization (KVM, VMware, Proxmox) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or private cloud).
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and other network services
Hands-on experience working on Firewall like Sophos, fortigate
Strong problem-solving and incident management skills.
