Linehaul Manager

Job Description

Nextday Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Linehaul Manager with a strong background in courier and logistics operations to manage and optimize inter-hub transportation (line haul) movements. The role requires hands-on experience in vehicle planning, route optimization, vendor management, and on-time performance (OTP).

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor linehaul movements between hubs and branches
• Ensure on-time dispatch and arrival of all linehaul vehicles as per schedules
• Manage vehicle deployment, route planning, and trip optimization
• Monitor load planning, utilization, and hub-wise connectivity
• Coordinate with hub managers, supervisors, and night/day in-charges
• Handle transport vendors, drivers, and vehicle compliance
• Track and control linehaul costs, fuel usage, and trip expenses
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, and statutory compliance
• Investigate and resolve vehicle delays, breakdowns, and transit issues
• Analyze daily MIS reports for delay, transit loss, and cost variance
• Support expansion of new routes and network optimization
• Coordinate with operations, first mile, and last mile teams for smooth flow

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in linehaul / line haul logistics operations
• Strong understanding of courier, express parcel, or transportation networks
• Hands-on experience in route planning, trip scheduling, and capacity planning
• Knowledge of vehicle types, payload optimization, and transport regulations
• Ability to manage vendors, drivers, and multi-hub operations
• Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of Excel / MIS
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Willingness to work in night shifts and handle time-critical operations

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in courier, express, e-commerce, or parcel logistics companies
• Exposure to hub-and-spoke models
• Proven ability to reduce TAT, delays, and linehaul cost
• Result-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
