Job Description

InstallationRead and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and installation instructions. Assemble lift components and install mechanical and electrical systems. Ensure lifts are aligned correctly and operate smoothly. Work with rigging equipment and tools for precise installation. Coordinate with construction teams during building projects. 2. Maintenance & ServicingConduct routine inspections of lift systems to ensure safe and proper operation. Lubricate moving parts and adjust systems for optimal performance. Replace worn or damaged parts such as cables, pulleys, or electrical wiring. Maintain service records and log all maintenance tasks. 3. Troubleshooting & RepairsDiagnose issues related to mechanical failures, wiring faults, or software malfunctions. Respond to emergency breakdowns or service calls. Use diagnostic tools to test control systems, safety switches, and circuits. Repair or replace defective components efficiently and safely. 4. Testing & Safety ChecksPerform safety checks to comply with legal and manufacturer standards. Test emergency systems such as brakes, alarms, and communication systems. Ensure lifts meet local and national safety codes (e.g., EN, ASME, or OSHA regulations). 5. Modernization & UpgradesUpgrade outdated systems with new technology, including controllers and interfaces. Improve energy efficiency and performance through modern components. Retrofit existing lifts with safety and performance enhancements.
