Lift/Elevator Technician

Job Title: Service Technician – Elevators (2+ Years Experience) Department: Service & Maintenance Location: Bangalore -Banashankari 2nd stage. Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years in Elevator/Lift Service & Maintenance Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Lift Service Technician with at least 2 years of experience in the elevator industry. The technician will be responsible for carrying out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevators/lifts, ensuring safe and efficient operations for clients. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine preventive maintenance of elevators and escalators as per company schedules. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults in lifts. Attend breakdown calls promptly and ensure minimal downtime. Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of new installations when required. Maintain accurate service records and report maintenance activities. Provide feedback to seniors on repeated faults and recommend permanent solutions. Ensure proper usage of tools and maintain good housekeeping at work sites. Coordinate with clients for smooth service operations and build strong customer relationships. Key Skills & Competencies: Good knowledge of elevator mechanical systems and control panels. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals. Basic knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to elevators. Good communication and customer-handling skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Qualifications: ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in elevator service/maintenance. Knowledge of leading elevator brands will be an added advantage. Salary & Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience.
