Lift/Elevator Technician

Job Title: Lift Technician – Lift Erection Company: Asian Elevators and Escalators Location: Pune Experience: 0 – 5 years (freshers with relevant training may be considered) Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month (depending on experience & skill level) Job Summary: We’re looking for a Lift Technician responsible for lift erection and related activities at Asian Elevators and Escalators. You’ll work on-site, assisting in the installation, testing, and commissioning of elevators. If you enjoy hands‑on technical work and have a knack for troubleshooting mechanical/electrical systems, this could be a great fit. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in lift erection, installation, and commissioning at customer sites. 2. Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, and electrical wiring as per drawings and standards. 3. Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with safety regulations during erection. 4. Test lift functionality, troubleshoot faults, and carry out adjustments. 5. Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to meet project timelines. 6. Maintain daily work logs, site reports, and documentation of installation activities. 7. Undertake preventive maintenance and breakdown calls post‑erection if required. 8. Follow company safety policies and wear PPE at all times on site. Requirements: - Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics (B.Tech / B.E. preferred but not mandatory). - 1‑3 years of experience in lift installation / erection or similar elevator/escalator field work. Freshers with strong technical training and willingness to work on-site will be considered. - Knowledge of electrical wiring, mechanical fitting, and basic PLC / control systems used in elevators. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. - Good problem‑solving skills and attention to safety. - Physically fit for site work, willing to travel and work at heights. - Valid basic safety certification (e.g., OSHA / equivalent) is a plus.
