Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Librarian located in Chennai. The Librarian will be responsible for managing library services, providing library instruction, and overseeing library operations. Daily tasks include organizing and managing library resources, cataloging and classifying materials, assisting students and faculty with research, and improving library systems. The role also involves the maintenance of metadata records and the implementation of best practices in library management.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Library Services and Library Science
• Proficiency in Metadata and Library Management
• Experience in Library Instruction
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Master's degree in Library Science or related field is preferred
• Experience in educational institutions or similar settings is advantageous
