Job Description

Responsibilities:

Government Liaison:
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with central and state drug control authorities (e.g., CDSCO, FDA).
Facilitate timely submissions and follow-ups for licenses, approvals, renewals, and NOCs.
Handle interactions with bodies such as Ministry of Health, Pollution Control Boards, Customs, Excise, and other statutory organizations.
Regulatory Compliance Support:
Coordinate with internal teams (Regulatory, QA/QC, R&D) to gather documentation required for regulatory submissions.
Monitor changes in drug regulations and ensure companys compliance.
Assist in inspections, audits, and queries from authorities.
Public Relations and Communication:
Represent the company at meetings, industry forums, and conferences with stakeholders.
Draft communication and official correspondence with government agencies.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all applications, approvals, correspondences, and regulatory updates.
Provide periodic status reports to senior management.

Required Skills

Good understanding of Indian drug laws, D&C Act, CDSCO guidelines, and related regulatory frameworks.
Strong networking, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple external relationships effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages.
Experience handling international regulatory interactions (e.g., WHO, US FDA, EMA) is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
