Leveraged Finance Credit Underwriting - Officer

As a Senior Analyst in the Global Leveraged Finance Underwriting Credit Team (LFU) at Citibank, your role will be crucial in delivering best-in-class credit risk analysis, monitoring, and credit administration to ensure the safety and soundness of wholesale lending across ICG. Working closely with the rest of the LFU team, you will contribute to creating a top-tier Leveraged Lending Underwriting organization aimed at enhancing Citis end-to-end Leveraged Lending credit management process. Key Responsibilities: - Write Annual Reviews and Quarterly Reviews for clients - Support LFU Underwriters on transactions - Assess the credit and financial strength of Citis most complex Large Corporate Clients through fundamental credit analysis - Monitor the covered portfolio and escalate potential credit issues to relevant partners - Evaluate clients" business models, financial performance, and key credit drivers - Build projection models to assess borrowers" cash flow profiles - Provide analytical support across LFUs core functions Qualifications: - 4-7 years of credit analysis, origination, or relevant credit experience - Well-developed analytical skills with an understanding of key financial components - Strong team player with a solid work ethic - Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Three statements financial modeling experience - Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and juggle multiple tasks effectively - Awareness and adherence to the control environment including Quality Assurance and Quality Control Education: - MBA or CFA or CA In addition to the above qualifications, you will be expected to possess skills such as Analytical Thinking, Constructive Debate, Escalation Management, Financial Analysis, Policy and Procedure, Risk Controls and Monitors, and Risk Identification and Assessment.
