Job Description

Level 2 OSS Engineer- MxM (Machine-to-Machine / Production Operations)

About the Role

MxM

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot
real-time machine breakdowns and faults
Identify and guide replacement of defective components (electrical/mechanical/pneumatic)
Support L1 engineers with:

Fault diagnosis
Restart procedures
Validation checks

Perform
root cause analysis (RCA)
for recurring issues
Monitor key performance indicators such as:

Uptime
Cycle time
OEE

Handle emergency stoppages, interlock failures, sensor errors, and quality-related faults
Document downtime events, issue logs, and daily shift reports
Collaborate with OEM and engineering teams for escalated issues

Required Skills & Experience

25 years experience in:

Production machine troubleshooting
Industrial automation & continuous manufacturing

Strong hands-on skills in:

PLC-driven machinery
Sensors & actuators
Robots, conveyors, automated stations

Ability to work under fast-paced production environments
Strong diagnostic and RCA capabilities

Languages

English + Hindi or Tamil

Work Schedule

6 days per week
8:00 AM 6:00 PM (10-hour shift)
