Legal Support Officer - Assistant Vice President

As a Legal Support Officer at Citi, your role is integral in providing legal support to the Citi Legal team. Your responsibilities will include: - Handling legal support activities related to legal operations, litigation/discovery/settlements, negotiation, and contract administration - Managing the execution, review, processing, and tracking of legal documentation, as well as completing varied work requests from multiple sources - Executing legal programs and projects to improve processes and legal support solutions, collaborating with other control/functional businesses - Conducting independent research and analysis to identify legal solutions or formulate recommendations on approach or strategy - Providing advice on associated risks based on product and documentation in relevant jurisdiction(s) to the Risk function and business partners - Maintaining detailed records, staying updated on regulatory and legal issues, and interacting with senior leaders to gather information and determine legal solutions You should have 5-8 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in an in-house legal role within financial services. Additionally, you must possess excellent interpersonal and project management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, in-depth knowledge of legal customs and practices, and an understanding of the financial services industry. A Bachelors/University degree is required, with a Masters degree preferred.
