Job Description

The Legal Operations Specialist will support the Global Legal & Compliance function in managing documentation, contract vetting, compliance record maintenance, and operational enablement for AOR (Agent of Record) and IC (Independent Contractor) services. The role will involve coordination with internal stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with global laws and internal risk frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining contracts, including NDAs, client MSAs, and Independent Contractor Agreements.
  • Support compliance documentation for global jurisdictions (US, Canada, UK, APAC).
  • Manage legal operations trackers, dashboards, and record repositories (SharePoint / Agiloft / Teams).
  • Coordinate internal audits, documentation retrieval, and report generation for leadership.
  • Research global regulatory requirements impacting AOR/IC models and prepare summary notes.
  • Support the Associate Director in developing risk assessment tools, compliance checklists, and workflow automations (CLM/Agiloft integrations).
  • Draft standard templates, correspondence, and internal SOPs for review and approval.
  • Liaise with the finance and HR teams for legal documentation compliance related to onboarding/offboarding.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure timely completion of assigned legal operations tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
  • 2–7 years of experience in contract management, compliance, or legal operations (staffing or consulting domain preferred).
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracting principles, AOR/EOR concepts, and data privacy norms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Teams, and document management systems. Experience with Agiloft, Concord, or other CLM tools is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
