Legal Resolution Manager

Looking for a seasoned legal manager to oversee civil recovery cases, DRT procedures, and secured and unsecured debt recovery. Managing recovery actions in many courts and forums, creating legal documents, and administering litigation are all part of the job description.

Key Responsibilities:

• Should be able to lead and coordinate with advocates and the recovery team;
• Handle recovery-related cases pertaining to the North region and surrounding region and take legal action for all such instances;
• Drafting and submitting legal notices, counterreplies, and applications, petitions, and plaints to several courts in order to collect the bank's debts;
• Regular implementation of different DRT, SARFAESI, IBC, Criminal, Civil, and other provisions;
• Working together with all panel attorneys to guarantee prompt filing of lawsuits against borrowers and guarantors, as well as prompt follow-up and attendance at all hearings;
• Completing the procedures for seizing possession and auctioning it in accordance with the SARFAESI Act;
• Executing and serving various types of warrants and coordinating with law enforcement organizations such as the police, administration, and judiciary on behalf of the bank;
• Participating in the NCLT/NCLAT hearing and the COC meeting; serving as the bank's representative in court and protecting the bank's interests in all circumstances
• To defend any consumer disputes brought against the bank and criminal charges before the police station;
• Providing legal opinions to various departments to guide them for smooth functioning; highlighting the legal risk that the Bank will have to face in any decision involving day-to-day operations or taking any stand in a particular case relating to the company; maintaining and periodically updating various types of MIS reporting in close follow-up of Team Members; and keeping up with the most recent legal developments in the securities law and other laws that are related to the field.

Requirements:

• More than 8–10 years of experience as a law graduate;
• Sound in-depth knowledge of national laws and experience handling legal matters;
• Good verbal and written communication skills;
• Teamwork, coaching, guiding, and mentoring abilities;
• Open to frequently traveling outside of the city to attend and manage legal cases;
• Capacity to react quickly with a solution to an unfavorable situation
