Legal Officer

As a Legal Officer with a minimum of 2-6 years of relevant experience, you will play a crucial role in our legal team. Your primary responsibilities will include providing legal counsel, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and representing the company in legal proceedings. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to mitigate legal risks and contribute to the overall success of the organization. Your main duties will involve coordinating and working closely with legal counsel for legal proceedings in Chennai, representing the company when necessary, reviewing company policies and procedures for legal compliance, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements, and conducting legal research to stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting the company. To excel in this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Law, possess a strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance, have experience in drafting and negotiating various legal documents, demonstrate excellent research and analytical skills, be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, exhibit strong communication and interpersonal abilities, prove your capability to handle confidential information discreetly, and ideally have experience in litigation and dispute resolution. Membership in a recognized bar association is required.
