Legal Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Conducting collection and recovery visits to defaulting customers' locations for debt recovery, and maintaining MIS (Management Information System) reports.
• Attending court proceedings initiated locally across the state.
• Filing criminal complaints against defaulting customers, as well as complaints under Section 156(3) of Cr. P.C in local courts.
• Managing execution proceedings in arbitration (Sections 17 & 9) and coordinating Lok Adalats and conciliation camps in respective locations
• Coordinating with police and other law enforcement agencies for the execution of summons and warrants.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification

  : A law graduate from a reputed institute/university.

• Experience

  : A minimum of 2 years of professional experience, including at least 1 year of practice in court for litigation and debt recovery.

• Industry Experience

  : Must have worked in an NBFC/Bank, specifically in collection litigation.

• Skills

  : Strong knowledge of recovery laws such as Section 138 of the NI Act, Arbitration, etc., along with excellent communication and drafting skills.
