Legal Manager

As the Legal Manager at KMPL - Support Services-Legal, you will be responsible for conducting diligent research into legal issues and recommending revisions as needed across a range of legal documents and agreements. Your role will involve ensuring the reliable and timely execution of the company's day-to-day legal activities. It will be crucial for you to anticipate and plan for all legal risks, developing strategies to mitigate those risks effectively. In this position, you will advise the leadership team on legal matters critical to the growth of the business. Your experience in managing attorneys and legal professionals will be valuable, along with broad litigation subject matter expertise including commercial class actions and regulatory investigations/enforcement. You should be able to evaluate risk and exposure, calibrate it to company needs, and effectively communicate with peers and executives. Your role will also require rich experience in managing and defending bulk litigations before various courts and forums, including Supreme Court, High Courts, Sessions Courts, Metropolitan Courts, Civil Courts, Consumer Forums, and Lok Adalat. You should have extensive exposure in managing Recovery Litigation (Secured & Unsecured), Arbitration Cases, MVCT Matters, and General Litigation. Experience in drafting and vetting various legal and commercial documents such as Writs, Agreements, Memorandum of Appeals, Complaints, Notices, Affidavits, Deeds, Written Statements, General Pleadings, Legal Communications, and Contracts will be essential for this role. Additionally, you should have experience in coordinating with Advocates, Law Officers, Court Staff, Police, and Law Enforcement Agencies. Team handling experience and exposure to team appraisal procedures are desired qualifications for this role. You should be willing to travel across branches and possess excellent communication skills to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of the Legal Manager position at KMPL - Support Services-Legal.,
