Description
Contract Management: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts for construction projects, including client agreements, subcontractor agreements, and vendor contracts. Legal Compliance: Ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to construction, including building codes, safety regulations, and environmental laws. Dispute Resolution: Handling disputes and litigation related to construction projects, providing legal advice, and representing the company in court or arbitration. Legal Advisory: Offering legal guidance on various construction-related matters, such as property acquisitions, construction financing, and project approvals. Compliance Management: Developing and implementing compliance programs to minimize legal risks and ensure adherence to industry standards. Due Diligence: Conducting due diligence on property acquisitions, ensuring the legal soundness of transactions, and managing related documentation. Legal Documentation: Preparing and managing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and other essential documents. Liaison with External Parties: Collaborating with external stakeholders, such as lawyers, consultants, and regulators, to ensure compliance and resolve legal issues.
