Legal Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Executive to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in handling a broad range of legal matters including contract management, compliance, legal documentation, corporate governance, and liaison with external legal counsel. This role is essential for ensuring the company’s legal affairs are managed effectively and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. Conduct legal research and provide sound advice on legal risks and issues. Support the legal team in managing litigation, arbitration, and other legal proceedings. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of corporate records, board resolutions, and filings. Liaise with external lawyers, government authorities, and regulatory bodies as needed. Maintain an organized database of legal documents and correspondence. Monitor changes in legislation relevant to the company’s business and advise stakeholders accordingly. Provide administrative support to the legal department as required. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification. Diploma in Law or Paralegal Certificate may be considered for junior roles. Proven experience as a legal executive, paralegal, or in a similar legal support role. Strong knowledge of corporate law, 138 NI Act & Arbitration, contract law, and compliance requirements. Excellent drafting and legal research skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
