Job Title: Sr Executive Contracts As a Sr Executive Contracts at B S R & Co. LLP, you are expected to have at least 2-4 years of post-qualification legal experience, with a strong preference for considerable experience as in-house counsel, preferably for the Indian subsidiary of a multinational company or an Indian multinational. Your responsibilities will primarily involve drafting, reviewing, and negotiating client/third party contracts while ensuring compliance with the firm's risk management policies and processes. You should possess the ability to work independently and pragmatically, being accountable for delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations. Collaboration with others in a fast-paced environment, along with the willingness to work towards business-friendly solutions, will be key aspects of your role. Additionally, having experience in working with teams in other countries and time zones will be advantageous for this position. Role & Responsibilities - Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating client/third party contracts. - Liaising with internal stakeholders, business teams, and senior management to resolve complex contractual issues promptly. - Providing clarifications on legal concerns to senior management and business teams by gaining a deep understanding of contractual/legal concepts. - Working within the legal and risk framework of the firm to provide quick solutions for smooth closure of contracts/agreements. - Negotiating with clients/third parties on contractual matters and escalating critical issues internally as needed. - Updating SOP, training junior team members, and supporting process simplification, automation, and innovation within the team. - Maintaining accuracy in tasks to avoid undue risk exposure for the Firm. - Acting in accordance with legal, regulatory, and internal risk procedures while remaining independent and objective at all times. THE INDIVIDUAL The ideal candidate for this role should have proficiency in working with Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with legal and other productive technology tools.
