Role Description: 1. The IT Faculty member is responsible for delivering high-quality education in the field of Information Technology. This includes teaching courses, developing curriculum, conducting research, and guiding students in their academic and career development. The faculty member will engage in departmental activities and contribute to the institution’s overall academic and research excellence. ➔ Ph.D. in Information Technology or a related field. ➔ Strong knowledge of current IT trends, tools, and technologies. ➔ Prior teaching experience is preferred. ➔ Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. ➔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ➔ Passion for teaching and mentoring students. Plan, deliver, and assess lectures, seminars, and lab sessions in IT-related subjects. ➔ Prepare and update course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and exams. ➔ Foster an interactive learning environment and use various teaching methods (lectures, group work, hands-on projects, etc.). ➔ Evaluate and grade students’ performance fairly and promptly. ➔ Develop and review course content, ensuring it is up-to-date with the latest technological trends and industry standards. ➔ Work with colleagues to update and enhance the curriculum regularly. ➔ Create and implement innovative teaching methodologies and tools to enhance student engagement. ➔ Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to academic planning and policy-making. ➔ Assist in organizing department events, guest lectures, and student activities.
