Risk-Contracts Manager

You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating client/third party contracts. This includes liaising with internal stakeholders, business teams, and senior management to resolve complex contractual issues in a timely manner. Your role will also involve gaining a deep understanding of contractual/legal concepts, providing clarifications on legal concerns, and working within tight deadlines to ensure smooth closure of contracts/agreements. Additionally, you will negotiate with clients/third parties, escalate critical matters internally, assess risks, and seek support to close contracts promptly. It is essential to understand the firm's policies, framework, and SOP, update SOP, train junior team members, and support process simplification, automation, and innovation within the team. You are expected to have a broad understanding of the firm's risk management policies and maintain integrity in all dealings, ensuring accuracy to avoid undue risk exposure and compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal risk procedures. As an individual, you should be proficient in Microsoft Office tools, with familiarity in legal and other productive technology tools considered an advantage. Strong executive presence, excellent communication, relationship development skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work autonomously are crucial. You should possess good written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, a keen sense of responsibility, solid professional standards, and a track record of dependability. An LLB is a must-have qualification, while an LLM is beneficial. A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is required.
