Legal Associate

As a Legal Associate at the company, your role will involve structuring transactions, drafting and negotiating various agreements such as Term Sheets, Share Subscription Agreements, Share Purchase Agreements, Shareholders Agreements, Co-Founders Agreements, Escrow Agreements, ESOP Policies, and Advisory stocks. You will also be responsible for conducting legal and compliance due diligence for startups, handling closing formalities for transactions, and providing general legal advice in venture capital transactions, mergers acquisitions, and general corporate matters. Key Responsibilities: - Structuring transactions - Drafting and negotiating various agreements - Conducting legal and compliance due diligence - Handling closing formalities for transactions - Providing general legal advice with respect to transactions - Negotiating terms and conditions Qualifications: - 3+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) Requirements and Skills: - Experience in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders - Work experience as an in-house lawyer or with a law firm in a commercial setting - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively - Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines - Professionalism in dealing with stakeholders - Experience in working across jurisdictions would be advantageous - Expertise in business-related areas such as commercial law, business litigation, compliance, intellectual property, etc. The company is looking for someone with a proactive mindset, effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels, and the ability to prioritize and work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
