Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Management: Draft, review, and vet a wide range of contracts, agreements, and MOUs to safeguard the company’s interests.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to statutory obligations under relevant laws, including the Indian Contract Act, Companies Act, Labour Laws, and other applicable corporate legislations.
• Advisory Support: Provide legal opinions and guidance to internal stakeholders on operational, commercial, and compliance-related issues.
• Policy & Documentation: Assist in creating, reviewing, and updating internal policies, standard templates, and documentation in line with evolving laws.
• Dispute Handling: Coordinate with external counsel for dispute resolution, litigation, and arbitration support when required.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential legal risks and propose strategies for effective mitigation.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner with cross-functional teams to enable business decisions with sound legal frameworks.
  

You Bring

• Strong foundation in contract drafting, corporate laws, and compliance.
• Graduation/Master’s in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized institute.
• Less than 4 years of post-qualification experience in a corporate legal function or law firm.
