Job Description

As a Lease Reviewer, your main role is to review lease abstracts and analyze commercial or residential lease agreements. You'll ensure that the details in the lease match the abstract template accurately. Your focus is to provide precise data, including lease terms, rental amounts, renewal options, and the responsibilities of both landlords and tenants. You will also summarize key points in lease terms and conditions based on specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lease Review

    : Carefully examine commercial and residential lease documents, noting all terms, conditions, and amendments. Compare these details with the abstracted template and identify any necessary changes.
  2. Feedback for Abstractors

    : Offer timely feedback to abstractors by identifying errors, explaining scenarios, and guiding them on how to make decisions in similar cases.
  3. Database Upload

    : Upload the reviewed and corrected abstracts into the client's database.
  4. Quality Check

    : Conduct a final review of the uploaded data in the database to ensure it is accurate, complete, and meets company standards.
  5. Team Collaboration

    : Work closely with peers and management, and provide training to abstractors when there are inconsistencies in the abstracted data.
  6. Record Keeping

    : Maintain well-organized records of lease documents, review reports, and summaries, ensuring they are easily accessible for future reference.
  7. Stay Updated

    : Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in leasing to improve your skills and the quality of your work.

Qualifications

  • Education

    : Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline.
  • Experience

    : At least 4 years of overall work experience, with 2 years specifically in lease review, real estate, property management, or legal documentation. Multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Attention to Detail

    : Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail to accurately interpret lease documents.
  • Computer Skills

    : Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Familiarity with lease management software is a bonus.
  • Communication

    : Effective verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain complex lease terms.
  • Work Style

    : Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Organizational Skills

    : Highly organized, able to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
