Job Description

As a Training and Development Specialist at Walter P Moore, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's training and development programs. You will work closely with the Learning Manager, Group Heads, and HR to identify training needs and develop effective learning strategies to improve employee skills and competencies. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive training programs aligned with organizational goals. - Support planning, preparation, and execution of L&D programs and campaigns. - Collaborate with managers to identify focus areas, skill gaps, and development needs within teams. - Design and deliver various training methods such as classroom training, e-learning, workshops, and seminars. - Monitor training records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the Learning Management System (LMS). - Manage administrative tasks related to the LMS, training budgets, vendor management, and digital learning platforms. - Develop standardized training modules for employees at all levels, from entry-level to managerial positions. - Host virtual training sessions as needed, showcasing strong facilitation skills. - Establish a feedback mechanism to evaluate learning effectiveness and make necessary revisions to training programs. - Stay updated on training and development best practices and research. Qualifications: - Masters degree in HR, learning, and/or organizational development is required. - Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTM, APTD, CPTD, CPLP) is a plus. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning & Development or similar roles. - Proven track record in setting up L&D teams, processes, and systems. - Demonstrated creativity and innovation in training design and delivery.
