Learning and Development Manager

As a Technical Trainer at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Technology Academy and evolving business needs. Your responsibilities and key areas of focus will include: - **Core Operational Support:** - Develop, maintain, and update technical learning pathways in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). - Support the delivery and evaluation of technical training programs and certifications. - Coordinate logistics for instructor-led and virtual learning sessions. - Respond to learner and stakeholder queries related to technical programs. - Assist in tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), learning analytics, and reporting requirements. - Utilize data and learner feedback to drive program innovation and continuous improvement. - Create and moderate internal knowledge-sharing spaces to support continuous learning and cross-team collaboration. - Support ad hoc operational upskilling needs such as urgent security incidents with AWS accounts requiring rapid security training and lessons-learned sessions. - **Backlog items requiring expanded capacity:** - GeoAI ESRI training package (workshops, trainings) with support requested by the SDE team. - Planning security trainings in response to recent AWS security incident with Trust team requesting ad hoc support. - Coordinating instructor-led external training sessions per team and vendor requests. - Conducting surveys to understand exact needs and skill level required for projects. - Creating learning pathways based on specific project requirements and following up for feedback. - Providing regular updates on GenAI Learning Pathways aligned with advancements. - Analyzing ongoing global programs data and advising for change/improvement. - Supporting the establishment of Copilot Knowledge Share space and training for global employee productivity. - **Strategic Value-Add Initiatives:** - Identify emerging technical skills needs in collaboration with engineering and data teams. - Design and pilot new learning modules or programs aligned with business goals. - Build and manage strategic partnerships with technical vendors and certification providers. - Provide planning and execution support for internal student hackathons. - Represent the Technology Academy in external hackathons and collaborations (e.g., AWS, HERE). - Represent the Technology Academy in broader Tech Board and related strategic forums. - **Backlog items requiring expanded capacity:** - Regular representation in Tech Board quarterly updates and involvement in AI strategy projects. - Supporting in student hackathons and external hackathons with AWS and HERE. - Providing executive-level training in GenAI. Your qualifications should include: - Technical background in cloud computing, data engineering, GIS, or software engineering. - 3+ years of experience at HERE, with familiarity in different divisions and the mapmaking industry. - Ability to translate technical concepts into accessible learning experiences. - Experience in designing or delivering training events. - Strong project and program management skills with excellent communication abilities. - Proven ability to build and maintain rapport with Director+ stakeholders. - Familiarity or interest in AI/ML learning programs. - Interest in supporting leadership enablement and executive-level training.
