We're looking for a versatile and dependable developer with strong WordPress and Shopify skills to bring client projects to life. Role Overview: You’ll be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining websites using WordPress and Shopify . Your work will directly impact how our clients look, perform, and succeed online. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites using WordPress and Shopify. Customize and modify existing themes (including child themes and liquid templates). Install and configure plugins/apps (SEO, analytics, forms, etc.). Set up eCommerce functionalities including product catalogs, checkout, and payments. Optimize website speed, performance, and responsiveness across devices. Ensure SEO best practices (on-page SEO, image optimization, metadata). Perform regular site updates, backups, and security checks. Troubleshoot bugs, fix UI/UX issues, and handle client revisions. Collaborate with designers, marketers, and content creators. Required Skills & Experience: 2+ years of experience in WordPress development (custom themes, page builders like Elementor or WPBakery). 1+ year of experience in Shopify development (theme edits, Liquid, Shopify apps). Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript , and basic PHP . Familiarity with WooCommerce and Shopify’s eCommerce features. Experience with SEO fundamentals , performance optimization, and analytics setup. Ability to work with Figma, XD, or PSD files for front-end implementation. Understanding of website hosting, domain setup, and migration processes. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow creative direction. Comfortable using tools like Trello, Slack, Google Workspace, or ClickUp . Nice to Have (Bonus Skills): Experience with email marketing integrations (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot). Knowledge of schema markup and technical SEO. Familiarity with web accessibility (WCAG) standards. Google Tag Manager & GA4 implementation skills. Ability to create landing pages and funnels using tools like Elementor, Leadpages, or Instapage. Basic image editing using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools.
