Lead UI/UX Designer

As a UI/UX Designer at eMedicalPractice, you will play a crucial role in redesigning the eMedPractice platform into a clean, intuitive, and modern experience for clinicians, billers, and staff. Your responsibilities will include: - **User Research & Journey Mapping**: - Observing how real clinics use the product and documenting pain points. - Creating personas and journey maps for provider, front desk, and billing roles. - **Experience Redesign**: - Transforming multi-screen ASPX interfaces into guided, minimal experiences. - Designing low/high-fidelity prototypes in Figma and conducting usability tests. - **Design System & Consistency**: - Developing a shared UI library including components, colors, typography, and states. - Collaborating with Angular/Blazor developers to implement pixel-perfect layouts. - Defining and documenting interaction patterns for future modules. - **Collaboration & Leadership**: - Working with the BA and Architect to translate requirements into flows. - Collaborating with QA to ensure UI/UX quality before release. - Mentoring junior designers if added later. - **Measure Success**: - Tracking clicks per task, time to complete workflows, and user feedback scores. - Iterating based on real usage data and support tickets. **Required Experience**: - 6-10 years in UI/UX for enterprise or SaaS apps (not just websites). - Proven experience in simplifying large, form-heavy, data-driven products. - Expertise in Figma, component libraries, and responsive layouts. - Strong understanding of HTML/CSS/Bootstrap and effective communication with developers. - Familiarity with WCAG accessibility and usability testing. - Excellent English communication and documentation skills. **Nice to Have**: - Healthcare domain (EHR, RCM, PM) experience. - Experience in modernizing legacy ASPX/jQuery apps. - Understanding of FHIR/clinical terminologies.
