Lead UI/UX Designer

As a Sr. UX Designer at Monotype, you will be responsible for creating beautiful websites and digital products to provide users with the best possible experience while meeting core business objectives. Your role will involve defining and designing functionality, user flows, and interfaces, improving existing features, and designing new ones. You will use data and user testing to understand user needs, create user-centric prototypes and UI designs, and generate new ideas and prototype solutions. Collaborating with Product managers, you will plan, prioritize, and schedule work for the development team, as well as define the product experience strategy. Additionally, you will create user journeys, flows, wireframes, mentor junior designers, and actively participate in user research and testing. Key Responsibilities: - Define and design functionality, user flows, and interfaces - Improve existing features and design new ones - Use data and user testing to understand user needs - Create user-centric prototypes and UI designs - Generate new ideas and prototype solutions - Plan, prioritize, and schedule work for the development team - Define the product experience strategy - Create user journeys, flows, and wireframes - Mentor junior designers - Actively participate in user research and testing Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of Web and Product Design experience - Strong UX/UI design portfolio and/or case studies - Passionate about customer design thinking - Understanding of HTML and CSS - Knowledge of UX design processes, methodology, and best practices - Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively - Comfortable working with global colleagues - Proficiency in one or more languages desirable Monotype is a global leader in fonts, bringing brands to life through type and technology.
