We currently have a career opportunity for an Lead Technical Consultant to join our team located in Perficient Bangalore Office. #LI-Onsite Job Overview: As a Lead Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will work with solution architects and developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design. Experience: 7+ years of professional mobile development experience, with at least 6 years specifically in React Native. Proven track record of building complex mobile apps using React Native that are currently live on app stores. Experience with native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin, Java) is a plus. Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native. Solid understanding of mobile design patterns and UX/UI principles. Sound knowledge in Core React Native components, Navigation, routing, interactions, Native Libraries, Platform modules etc Experience with Redux, Redux-Saga/Thunk, or other state management libraries. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and mobile application integration with backend services. Understanding of mobile security best practices. Familiarity with tools like Xcode, Android Studio, and debugging on iOS/Android devices. Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Detox, or Appium. Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile apps. Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering solutions. Ability to mentor and guide junior developers. Willingness to take ownership of product features and architecture. Preferred Qualifications Experience with popular libraries such as React Navigation, React Query, Firebase, or GraphQL. Experience with Native Modules development for iOS/Android. Previous experience with mobile analytics, deep linking, and push notifications. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello. Experience with App Store and Google Play submission process. Knowledge of performance optimization tools like Flipper or React Native Debugger. WHO WE ARE . Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems and abstractions. Build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across mobile platforms. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs. Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Identify and fix bottlenecks in performance and improve user experience. Use native APIs for deeper integrations with both iOS and Android platforms when needed. Code Quality & Testing: Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices. Ensure that applications are properly tested (unit, integration, end-to-end). Lead code reviews, providing feedback and ensuring code quality. Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor junior developers, ensuring they follow development best practices. Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver top-notch products. Participate in team discussions, planning, and decision-making processes. Project Management: Work with project managers to define project timelines, scopes, and deliverables. Manage application releases and provide ongoing support to address issues post-launch.
