Lead Specialist - R2R Reconciliation 6+ Years - Bangalore

We require a detail-oriented professional with strong expertise in R2R processes, including accruals accounting, bank reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation. The ideal candidate should have over 6 years of hands-on experience and a proven track record of driving process improvements within the R2R function. Responsibilities

1. Manage end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) reconciliation processes to ensure accurate and timely financial results.
2. Oversee the preparation and review of reconciliations, journal entries, monthly/quarterly closing activities, including

   bank and balance sheet reconciliations

   .
3. Lead

   process improvement

   and standardization initiatives to enhance reconciliation accuracy and operational efficiency.
4. Implement strong internal controls, support audits, identify discrepancies, and proactively mitigate financial risks.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows and optimize system integrations.
6. Drive automation initiatives within reconciliation processes and provide mentorship to junior team members to build capability within the team.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors or masters degree in finance/accounting; CA Inter preferred.
2. 6+ years of hands-on experience in R2R/RTR, with strong expertise in

   bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

3. Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory frameworks.
4. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and reconciliation tools with the ability to work efficiently across systems.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
