Lead Solution Architect

Position Summary:

The Lead Solution Architect will spearhead the design and development of a comprehensive, scalable, and secure mobile application for A1 Healthcare. This role involves defining the overall technical architecture, selecting technology stacks, integrating third-party systems, and ensuring the solution aligns with business goals and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Design & Architecture:

• Define the end-to-end architecture for the A1 Healthcare mobile application, including frontend, backend, and infrastructure components.
• Design scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
• Create architectural blueprints and documentation to guide the development team.

Technology Evaluation & Selection:

• Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and tools that best fit the project needs.
• Ensure that selected technologies align with organizational standards and future scalability requirements.

Integration Management:

• Oversee integration with third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, healthcare databases, and API platforms).
• Design and implement robust data flow mechanisms between systems to ensure data integrity and security.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and UX/UI designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Communicate architectural decisions and plans to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

• Lead a team of developers, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines and best practices.
• Provide technical mentorship and support to development team members.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

• Ensure that the application meets healthcare industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, Australian Privacy Act) and internal security policies.
• Implement robust testing strategies and participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a solution architect or similar role.
• Proven track record in designing and delivering complex mobile applications.
• Experience in healthcare IT solutions is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in mobile development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin).
• Strong knowledge of backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, .NET) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with healthcare standards and data formats (e.g., HL7, FHIR).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Solution Architecture (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with mobile app security best practices.
