Lead Solution Architect

As a Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications on modern cloud-based technologies. You will be engaging with technical teams and business stakeholders to propose technical approaches, define the technical target state of products, participate in architecture governance bodies, evaluate new technologies, and lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs. - Engage technical teams and business stakeholders to propose technical approaches and discuss current and future needs - Define the technical target state of products and drive the achievement of the strategy - Participate in architecture governance bodies and evaluate recommendations on new technologies - Develop secure and high-quality production code, review, and debug code written by others - Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability - Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs Qualifications Required: - Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience - Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability - Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages - Experience in AI and prompt engineering - Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods - Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle - Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security - Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline - In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems - Practical cloud-native experience - Advanced knowledge of one or more software, applications, and architecture disciplines,
