Lead Software Engineer

As an experienced professional with 5-8 years of experience, you will be responsible for owning, architecting, and delivering core modules of a multi-agentic AI SaaS platform. Your role will involve working on user-facing React micro-front-ends, Python micro-services, Postgres persistence, and AWS infrastructure. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring the next generation of engineers within a hyper-growth environment. Your key responsibilities will include translating product vision into secure and scalable features, driving design, coding, review, testing, and deployment. You will be involved in platform evolution by designing fault-tolerant, multi-tenant architectures, integrating multi-agent LLM workflows, vector search, and RAG pipelines. Furthermore, you will champion CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/CDK), automated testing, observability, and cost-aware cloud operations. As a technical leader, you will mentor a team of 2-4 engineers, establish coding standards, lead architecture reviews, and contribute to sprint planning. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Product, DevRel, and GTM will be essential to ensure the timely release of business-impacting features every 2-3 weeks. The ideal candidate for this role must have 4-6 years of experience in building production SaaS, with expertise in Python back-ends (FastAPI/Django/Flask) and React (hooks, TS). Proficiency in deep SQL and Postgres tuning, distributed systems knowledge (caching, queues, event-driven design), AWS (EKS/Lambda, S3, Aurora, IAM), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is required. A proven track record of shipping at a scale of over 1 million MAU or 10,000 TPS, along with strong skills in DSA, design patterns, code review, and mentoring, are essential. Nice-to-have skills include experience with LangChain/Agents/Vector DBs, OpenAI/Anthropic/LLama APIs, feature-flag systems, multi-region deployments, and SOC-2/ISO-27001 compliance.
