Lead Software Engineer

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code that meets performance and security requirements.
• Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement new features and functionalities.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects in a timely and efficient manner.
• Contribute to the improvement of development processes and tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
• Work closely with Japanese software and hardware teams to ensure smooth collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Adhere to established coding standards and best practices.
• Proactively identify and report potential risks or issues.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

Skills Required:

• Strong programming skills in Python and Typescript.
• Hands-on experience with Angular for front-end development and GUI functionalities.
• Expertise in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Solid understanding of Design Patterns and object-oriented software design.
• Knowledge of OOAD (Object-Oriented Analysis & Design) and software architecture principles.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Scrum ceremonies.
• Understanding of network protocols such as SNMP is a plus.
• Leadership and mentoring experience for guiding junior engineers.
• Experience with full software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and adhere to coding standards.
