Lead Software Engineer

• 6+ years of experience in BI/analytics platform support or infrastructure engineering, with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
• Hands-on experience administering Snowflake, MicroStrategy SaaS, Qlik, Looker, or Semarchy.
• Strong expertise with AWS services relevant to BI platforms (RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC).
• Proficiency in observability tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, or Prometheus) for monitoring and alerting.
• Proven track record of incident response and root cause analysis for high-severity platform incidents.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.) for automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across engineering and BI/reporting teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as MicroStrategy Certified System Administrator (Cloud), Qlik Sense System Administrator, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate.
• Experience supporting CI/CD workflows (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for BI or analytics platform deployments.
• Familiarity with AIOps or automated monitoring practices to improve platform stability and reduce manual effort.
• Background in large-scale enterprise BI environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
