Lead Software Engineer

As a Technical Leader, you will lead the design and delivery of Designer Cloud workflows that integrate seamlessly with leading cloud data warehouses (CDWs) such as Databricks, Snowflake, and BigQuery.You will guide the development of our in-house workflow transformation engine, shape cross-package and monorepo architectures for performance and reliability, and collaborate closely with PM and UX teams to deliver secure, high-quality platform capabilities. This role requires a strong technical foundation, leadership skills, and a passion for innovation.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement web components, templates, and workflows based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Architects to develop enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Partner with the UX Design team to influence and align technical designs.
• Develop across the full web stack JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, Node.js, Material UI, and Design Systems.
• Drive the design and enhancement of new and existing product features, contributing to product strategy and innovation.
• Work on challenging problems involving AI, cloud data platforms, NX/JS, and WebAssembly.
  

What You'll Bring

• 7+ years of experience building modern front-end applications using React, Redux, Jest, Material UI, and Design Systems.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of Microfrontend architecture, Monorepos, and styled-components.
• Proven ability to design and communicate complex system architectures.
• Experience with deployment pipelines (Docker, GitLab CI/CD) and build tools (Webpack, Babel, Rsbuild).
• Familiarity with tracking tools such as Google Analytics or Amplitude.
• Ability to plan, estimate, and collaborate effectively with PMs and designers.
• Experience leading and mentoring front-end/UI development teams while contributing hands-on.
• Commitment to maintaining high code quality standards and ensuring timely project delivery.
• Experience in compliance with information security and organizational standards.
  

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of real-time data communication.
• Basic understanding of Generative AI.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.
