REPORT TO: - RCM (Residence Construction Manager)/Safety engineer

Company is Providing Accommodation & Transportation

• PDIS , ADIS, Diploma in Industrial safety (minimum 1-year Course)

• B.E. or Diploma

• Experience of 5 8 years is mandatory post ADIS/PDIS

• Must have previously worked in construction sites with respect to refinery, oil & gas or petrochemical industries.

• Additional: Post diploma in Industrial safety, Diploma in Fire safety and management, any recognized diploma in health management and industrial safety.

• Excellent Communication skills required.

• Proficiency in handling on - site hazards and handling compliance with respect to legal safety standards.

• Working in collaboration with the safety engineer to ensure proper implementation of safe practices and procedures.

Job Role:

The Safety Officer will handle the facilitation of Compliance with OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (OHS) guidelines. You will provide advice on measures to minimize hazards or unhealthy situations.

You will be responsible to establish a safe work-place according to legal standards and foster a culture of culture of attention to health and safety.

• Preparation and adherences to safety operating procedures and complying with safety norms and different code of conduct as prescribed by the company and the Legal authorities.

• Identification and prevention of hazards in the site and nearby premises to ensure complete safety.

• Maintaining proper documents and records pertaining to safety as stated by the company and the government authorities.

• Ensuring statutory compliances as per the safety standards and to implement the procedure of the statutory compliances in case of any accidents or hazards at site.

• Use labels, signs, posters, floor making and color coding to warn Employees about potential hazards.

• Ensure that safe tools and equipments are used and ensuring the maintenance of those tools and Equipments.

• Fatal Accidents should be handled carefully and in case of hospitalization of any of the employee make sure the concerned Company and client are informed.

• Develop and Implement policies and procedure with emphasis on internal controls.

• Special projects as required.

• Special Supervision on site related safety issues which involves legal compliances.

• Shall have knowledge for EIL related safety requirement at site.
