Job Summary

As a Lead Quality Engineer you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of software quality. With a focus on automation and efficiency you will utilize your expertise in Cucumber Java Rest API and Selenium to drive testing processes. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment contributing to impactful projects in the IT Consulting domain.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure software quality and reliability.
Implement automated testing frameworks using Cucumber and Selenium to streamline testing processes.
Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the software development lifecycle.
Utilize Java and Rest API skills to create and execute test scripts for functional and regression testing.
Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting areas for improvement.
Ensure that all testing activities align with project timelines and quality standards.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to enhance code quality and testability.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software.
Continuously improve testing processes by incorporating industry best practices and new technologies.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members fostering a culture of quality and innovation.
Engage in regular communication with project managers to update on testing progress and challenges.
Contribute to the development of testing documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
Support the IT Consulting domain by ensuring that software solutions meet client expectations and industry standards.

Qualifications

Possess strong technical skills in Cucumber Java Rest API and Selenium essential for test automation.
Demonstrate experience in IT Consulting which is beneficial for understanding client needs and industry trends.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in identifying and resolving software issues.
Show proficiency in creating and executing test scripts ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Display effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
