Job Description

Job Summary

As a Lead Quality Engineer you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our software products. You will leverage your expertise in testing tools and methodologies to drive quality assurance processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams you will ensure that our solutions meet customer expectations and contribute to the companys success in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure product quality.
Oversee the implementation of automated testing frameworks using tools such as Cucumber TestNG and Maven.
Provide expertise in HP ALM for test management and ensure seamless integration with Jira for defect tracking.
Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and design effective test cases.
Conduct thorough testing of APIs using RestAssured to ensure robust and reliable software performance.
Utilize Java programming skills to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of database testing using PL/SQL.
Coordinate with stakeholders to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
Monitor and report on testing progress providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
Mentor and guide junior team members fostering a culture of quality and excellence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives and deliverables.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software quality assurance.

Qualifications

Possess a strong background in HP ALM Cucumber TestNG Maven RestAssured Java Jira and PL/SQL.
Demonstrate expertise in automated testing frameworks and methodologies.
Have experience in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain which is a plus.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Show strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Have a minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance.
Be adaptable to a hybrid work model with a focus on day shifts.
