• Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Manager to lead and oversee engineering projects, manage a team of engineers, and ensure that all engineering deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.

• Key Responsibility

1. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers in design, development, testing, and implementation.

2. Coordinate with internal teams and clients to define project requirements and specifications.

3. Oversee project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.

4. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks.

5. Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to meet business goals.

6. Evaluate and approve engineering design changes and specifications.

7. Monitor project progress and provide technical guidance and support when necessary.

8. Implement continuous improvement processes to optimize engineering efficiency and product performance.

9. Prepare engineering documentation, project plans, and schedules.

10. Prepare and present project updates, technical reports, and budgets to senior management.

11. Identify training and development needs of engineering staff and organize skill-building programs.

12. Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

13. Conduct site visits and manage installation, commissioning, and testing of mechanical systems.

14. Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.

15. Responsible to handle team for Design, Development, installation and commissioning of Chemical Process plant e.g.: Pilot plant, Gold Refining Plant, Distillation units, Fractional Distillation Unit, Liquid-Liquid Extraction unit, Mixer-Settler Extraction Unit, Glass Reactors Mixing Vessel, Solvent Recovery & Gas Absorption System, HCL Gas Generation Plant, Solvent Recovery Plant Recovery/Extraction from Herbs, Essential Oils and Flowers.

16. Handling Customer from Project start, execution, installation, commissioning, and handover to customer.

17. Interacting, discussing, and guiding, Manufacturing/production team on project basis.

18. Develop innovative ways to achieve accuracy and quality in the product to deliver.

19. Observe and provide input from improvement and development of product.

20. Attend maintenance call from the customer and provide them best solution.

21. Role involves visits to sites, customers.

22. Functional Skills: Good Communication Skills, Convincing & Coordinating capabilities with strong urge to deliver.

• Key Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

2. 5 to 10 years of experience in project management and mechanical engineering.

3. Strong knowledge of mechanical design, systems, and manufacturing processes.

4. Project management tools.

5. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Preferred Skills:

1. PMP or similar project management certification.

2. Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement processes.

3. Background in [industry-specific experience, e.g., automotive, aerospace, electronics, etc.]
