Job Title: Lead Product Engineer – Automotive Industry

Location: BAWAL HARYANA
Department: Product Engineering
Reports To: [Engineering Manager / Head of Product Development]

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of automotive components/systems (e.g., engine components, plastic parts, HVAC, fuel systems, etc.).
• Manage CAD deliverables, DFMEA, DVP, and technical documentation.
• Interface with cross-functional teams (design, validation, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers) to ensure timely project execution.
• Drive innovation, cost optimization, and weight reduction initiatives through design improvements.
• Ensure product compliance with customer specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Support prototype build, validation testing, and problem-solving during development phases.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in technical problem-solving and best practices.
• Handle customer interactions, technical presentations, and design reviews.
• Ensure timely delivery of engineering milestones with focus on quality and robustness.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Production Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in automotive product development (design, validation, or engineering).
• Strong knowledge of CAD tools (Creo / Catia / NX) and PLM systems (Teamcenter, Enovia, etc.).
• Experience with GD&T, DFMEA, DVP&R, APQP, and PPAP processes.
• Knowledge of materials (plastics, metals, composites) and manufacturing processes.
• Exposure to customer interaction and global project execution.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
