Lead - Process

Purpose/Objective

Responsible for all Process aspects of project including coordination for project Management, Engineering Management, Contractor/Vendor Management and site management. He needs to coordinate with Consultant/ Engineering team/TC team and lead the site Process team of the project for timely completion of the installation and commissioning work.

Key Responsibilities of Role

1. Understanding of P&ID, PFD, GA drawings 2. Understanding of process data sheets, Processdata sheets and instruments data sheets 3. Familiar with PHA and HAZOP and PSSR procedures 4. Anticipation of operational issues based on material balance, energy balance, P&ID and SOP reviews. 5. Preparation of SOP and Training Modules for operating staffs and providing classroom and field training to operating staff 6. To check the Processintegrity of plant with respect to P&ID, layout and SOP and ensure the closure of deviations. Ensure the configuration of DCS with respect to PID/C&E and Alarms. Well convergent with DCS. 7. Preparation of water/solvent trials SOPs and execution of water/solvent trials. 8. Planning and supporting the operation team for chemical charging of new plant with safe manner. 9. Monitoring the process for any deviations in standard operating parameters and take corrective actions accordingly during start up. 10. Section wise quantitative and qualitative analysis – Monitoring activity wise details of BCT, identification of root causes for deviations 11. Make the scheme /proposal of improvements for achieving the BCT, implementation of scheme after required approval, demonstration of performance 12. Process safety improvements- Capture the process near miss,unsafe conditions and discuss the possible preventive and corrective actions. 13. To help the production staff in troubleshooting and achieving the design capacity, norms and quality. 14. Having knowledge of pre commissioning/commissioning activities of new built project and all supportive documentations.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: B.E / B.Tech ( chemical ) having relevant experience in production and commissioning of large chemical plant ( Min.03 yrs production experience must) Experience: 14 - 18 Years experience in projects
