Position: Lead – Knowledge Management

About the Organization

National Insurance VimoSEWA Cooperative Ltd. is a multi-state cooperative promoted by SEWA and aims to provide social protection to informal sector women workers and their families. It is a standalone, multi-product and full-service delivery insurance entity in which women members are themselves users, owners and managers of all services.

About the Role

The position will be based out of the head-office at Ahmedabad or could be at any location as per need of the organization.

This position offers an opportunity for Knowledge Management domain including Program, Research, Documentation, Training and Data Management functions. The candidate may manage programs, mapping relevant industry events, identification of project grants, knowledge management, and documentation of research projects by policy briefs, reports etc. The role involves field visits as required.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Support CEO in managing programs.

· Support CEO in conducting research and analysis and documentation of research work.

· Support the CEO to increase the outreach of the organization and support in facilitating and maintaining existing partnerships with CSOs.

· Support in establishing knowledge management system and documentation including project reports, preparation of grant and project proposals, policy briefs etc.

· To support in strengthening of the monitoring and evaluation system of the organization.

· Any other task assigned by the CEO.

Professional Qualifications/expectations

· Desired: She/He should hold Master’s degree or post graduate diploma in Business Management/ Masters in Development Management/ Rural Management with at least 5-6 years of experience in development sector.

· She/He should be agile, resilient and passionate to contribute in the development space.

· She/He should be able to commit for at least 2 years with the organization.

Additional Information

The position is based out of Ahmedabad, Gujarat but would include travel to the project location as decided by the senior management.

Duration of the Work

The contract will be awarded for one year initially (subject to renewal) with three months of probation (can be terminated if performance is not satisfactory).

Compensation (Consolidated)

As per the industry standards.
