About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Java Backend Developer to join our team(IoT domain). You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable microservices using Spring Boot, SQL databases, and AWS services. As a technical leader, you will guide the backend development team, implement DevOps best practices, and optimize cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Develop: Architect and implement high-performance, scalable, and secure backend services using Java (Spring Boot).

Microservices & APIs: Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices with a strong focus on scalability and reliability.

Database Management: Design and optimize SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and implement efficient data models.

Cloud & DevOps: Deploy and manage applications on AWS using services like ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, and API Gateway.

CI/CD & Automation: Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.

Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve backend performance and scalability.

Security & Compliance: Ensure best practices for security, authentication, and authorization using OAuth, JWT, and IAM roles.

Mentorship & Leadership: Lead the backend team, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance.

✅ Messaging Systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, MQTT)

✅ Testing (JUnit, Mockito, Integration Testing)

✅ Logging & Monitoring (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana)

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

Experience with IoT domain

Work experiance in Startups

Experience in event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka

Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform

Exposure to serverless architectures
