Role Summary: As the lead analyst in Internal Audit at Providence, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of conducting internal audit and SOX assessments and reviews of diverse financial and operational processes within the organization. Roles and Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee a variety of internal audit projects across an international enterprise, including risk and control assessments, internal audits, SOX processes, advisory projects, among others. - Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial reporting, operational activities, and adherence to relevant laws and regulations. - Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and governance processes within financial and operational frameworks. - Identify deficiencies and gaps in processes and documentation, recommending necessary improvements. - Perform periodic internal control assessments of the established framework and support in executing remedial actions. - Collaborate with stakeholders and management to discuss audit findings and provide recommendations. - Effectively manage process owners and act as the primary point of contact for specific processes. - Prepare detailed audit reports, document findings, and monitor the progress of remediation actions. - Ensure adherence to timelines and deliver high-quality audit reports that meet established standards. - Stay updated on the latest developments in risk management, internal controls, SOX compliance, and internal audit practices. Desired Profile: - Possess 5 to 8 years of experience in internal auditing and SOX assessments, with a preference for prior experience in Big Four firms and the US healthcare industry. - Hold a qualification such as CA or MBA in Finance with a strong academic background. - Additional certifications like CIA would be advantageous. - Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Client-facing experience is desirable. - Exhibit strong organizational, documentation, record-keeping, and publishing skills. - Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Skill Set: - Extensive experience in internal auditing and SOX assessment, preferably gained at one of the Big Four firms. - Profound understanding of accounting principles, audit methodologies, and internal control frameworks. - Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel, data analytics tools, and audit software. - Familiarity with MS Office applications and ERPs, especially Oracle.
