Job Description

Role Description

We are looking for a

Senior Java Backend Developer

withdeep expertise in

Unix/Linux environments

and

advanced SQLskills

to design, optimize, and support high performance backendsystems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance backend services using Java and related frameworks (Spring/Spring Boot).
Build scalable APIs and microservices with strong focus on performance and reliability.
Work extensively in Unix/Linux for development, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Write, optimize, and review complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database logic.
Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions.
Diagnose production issues and drive root cause analysis.

Required Skills

6+ years of backend development experience with Java.
Strong hands on experience with Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting.
Expert level SQL skills (query tuning, indexing, data modeling).
Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and build tools (Maven/Gradle).

Preferred

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Knowledge of NoSQL, messaging systems, or containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
