Job Description

Role Proficiency:

Act creatively to develop applications and select appropriate technical options optimizing application development maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions account for others' developmental activities

Outcomes:

  1. Interpret the application/feature/component design to develop the same in accordance with specifications.
  2. Code debug test document and communicate product/component/feature development stages.
  3. Validate results with user representatives; integrates and commissions the overall solution
  4. Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components or creating own solutions
  5. Optimises efficiency cost and quality.

  2. Present design options to customers
  3. Conduct product demos


Manage Team:

  1. Set FAST goals and provide feedback

    Job Description: *Job Description for TM1* *Solution Architect* We are looking for a TM1 Solution Architect. This includes upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, user communication, admin and configuration expertise, performance tuning and partnering with IT on the following key topics The TM1 Solution Architect at will be responsible for supporting the state of the art solutions and services in the TM1 application area. This includes the quality control of all implementations of systems enhancements following established processes to meet customer requirements. This role requires strong technical knowledge of the application & data integration landscape combined with a deep understanding underlying application architecture and infrastructure component. He/she should lead the interaction with project teams, development teams, and application and testing teams. This role would lead the TM1 application group and provide guidance about all implementations and approves non-avoidable customizations. He/she will orchestrate the architecture design decisions and coordinate the TM1 Life Cycle. *Your Responsibilities:* * You will be responsible for coordinating and managing projects, operations as well as our system environment in the area of Financial Planning & Analytics * Providing Administration and maintenance of the central TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics (PA) platform, which covers the main analysis, reporting and planning solutions of the finance and controlling area * Further development of the databases by adding further requirements, changes, master data, processes, rules, etc. including extensive testing. * Proactive introduction of ideas for continuous system and process improvement. * Interact with internal clients, developers and IT peers to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of modifications into the production environment. *Who you are* * At least 5-10 years of relevant work experience at a multinational company, including previous experience regarding complex IT transactions * 5+ years' experience in IBM PLANNING ANALYTICS(TM1) / COGNOS * 2+ years' experience with SQL databases and queries * Deep understanding of IBM PLANNING ANALYTICS solution (TM1) * Good understanding of TM1 development principles and practical usage in the finance area. * Ability to support solutions based on business requirements. * Profound conceptual thinking and solid project managing skills * Strong customer-orientation and persistence in finding solutions * Excellent communication, problem-solving, conflict/resolution management, active listening, time management, and interpersonal skills * Capable to work self-reliant and team-oriented * Proficient in the English language. * Any Certification related to IBM analytics - TM1 is a strong plus. * Ability to build, guide, coach and sustain a team of TM1 / IBM ANALYTICS experts/resources.
