Lead fabrication

The role is responsible for managing modular structure production to meet project timelines, quality, and safety standards. It involves planning and monitoring production activities, effective use of manpower, materials, and machinery, and ensuring smooth material flow. The role also includes quality inspections, reporting, process improvement, equipment maintenance, and regular coordination with management to ensure efficient and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and control daily manufacturing activities to ensure smooth operations and achievement of production targets.

• Take timely and practical decisions related to production challenges, manpower deployment, and process improvements.

• Handle manufacturing machinery and processes with strong hands-on exposure to press shop operations.

• Supervise welding, fabrication, and assembly activities, ensuring adherence to drawings, specifications, and safety norms.

• Implement quality control practices across all stages of production to meet internal and customer standards.

• Conduct process time studies, analyze productivity, and maintain accurate production and performance records.

• Train, guide, and develop subordinates to improve skill levels, efficiency, and discipline on the shop floor.

• Coordinate with internal teams and follow company systems and practices as per operational requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mech).

Skills Required:

• Should have knowledge on AutoCAD.

• Knowledge of quality management systems, tools, and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO standards).

• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
