Job Description

Job Overview

The Automation Tester should be able to implement and maintain Test Automation Framework. Responsible for leading a small team of automation testers technically and functionally for Majesco product/projects.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Establishing the Test automation strategy, design, develop, execute the automation test scripts and report as per customer's test automation standards.
  • Develop and/or maintain different automation frameworks as per the Product/Project needs.
  • Provide feedback on artifacts developed during requirements and analysis phases.
  • Ensure completion of all deliverables is within schedule, budget, and quality constraints.

Skills / Attributes Required:

Essential:

  • Hands on experience Selenium/Web driver, Selenium Grid
  • Hands on experience with BDD Framework Cucumber or Serenity, Gherkin language
  • Strong understanding of REST/SOAP Web Service concepts and experience with API Testing, handling of json, XML data.
  • Knowledge of XPath and CSS.
  • Understanding of build tools like Maven/Gradle and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Ansible etc.
  • Proficiency in Test Suite and Test data management
  • Proven expertise in leading a team of 2-3 Automation Testers

Desired Skills

  • Desirable working on TestNG, Maven, Jenkins.
  • Defect Management and Agile Management Tool like JIRA is preferrable.
  • Desirable having certified tester like ISTQB/Agile Tester.
  • 5-8 years of experience as an Automation Tester, with at least 2-3 years in the P&C insurance domain.
